Terms for lessons with Refael
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These are the terms for booking a call or a session with me, Refael, through lessons.starcamp.ai. They're short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to me at [email protected] before you book.
Who you're booking with
I'm Refael, a private individual based in Koh Samui, Thailand. I'm not a company, and these lessons are my own service: you pay me directly, not Starcamp.
I'm not part of Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, and these lessons aren't approved by it.
What's offered
| Length | Price | Notes | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hello call | 20 minutes | Free | On Google Meet. No Claude account needed. |
| One session | 1 hour | $50 | Needs Claude Pro or Max. |
| Four sessions | 4 × 1 hour | $160 | Used within one month. |
| Ten hours | 10 hours | $350 | Used within six months. |
Prices are in US dollars. Sessions are in English and take place online: on Google Meet by default, or on Zoom, Discord or another app if you'd rather, and I'll send you the link for it.
You need to be 18 or older to book.
A booking is for one person. Want to bring a friend or colleague? Write to me first, and we'll agree the price together.
Booking
You book through Cal.com, the booking tool I use. A booking needs at least 2 hours' notice. When you book, you'll get an email with the time and the video link.
Paid sessions are arranged after the free Hello call.
For paid sessions you need your own Claude Pro or Max plan, which you pay for yourself, separately, to Anthropic. The Hello call doesn't need one: I'll show you Claude on my own account.
Paying
- One session is paid when you book, by card, through Cal Pay, Cal.com's payment service, which is run by a payment company called Whop. Your card details go to them, never to me.
- Four sessions and Ten hours are arranged after the free Hello call. I'll tell you how to pay before you commit.
The price you see is the price you pay me. Your bank may add its own fee for paying in US dollars.
Your card statement may not show my name. If you see a charge you don't recognise, write to me before you contact your bank, and I'll sort it out.
Moving or cancelling
You move or cancel up to 2 days before: no cost. If you'd paid, you get the full amount back. "2 days" means 2 calendar days before the session's date.
You cancel later than that: the payment isn't refunded. If something has come up, write to me anyway; I'll help where I can.
If I cancel, or I don't show up: you choose, either a full refund or a new time at no cost.
Being late, or not coming
If you're running late, I'll wait 15 minutes. The session still ends at its booked time, so a shorter session costs the same. If you don't join within 15 minutes and haven't let me know, the session counts as used.
Packages
- Four sessions are used within one month of paying. Ten hours are used within six months of paying.
- If you stop part-way, you can ask for the unused part back before the time runs out. I refund what you paid minus the hours you've used, each counted at the single-session price ($50). For example: Four sessions with one used → $160 − $50 = $110 back. Ten hours with three used → $350 − $150 = $200 back.
- Hours not used when the time runs out lapse.
If a session didn't work for you
Write to me at [email protected] within 7 days. I'll reply, and if it's fair, I'll refund it or offer you another session.
Recordings and notes
- You may record a session for your own use. Please tell me at the start.
- I don't record sessions unless you ask me to. If I do, the video app tells everyone in the call that recording has started, I send you a link, and I delete the recording 30 days later.
- I send you notes by email the same day. Once they're sent, I don't keep a copy.
Keeping it private
What you show me and tell me in a session stays between us. I don't share your work, files or what was said, unless you agree or the law requires it.
What not to share in a session
Please keep these off your screen and out of the conversation:
- Passwords, API keys, bank or card details. If one shows up on screen anyway, change it afterwards.
- Health information, yours or anyone else's.
- Other people's personal details, such as customer lists, unless you have the right to show them.
What I'm not responsible for
- What you build. You're responsible for what you build, publish or run with Claude, and for checking that it works and is safe to use.
- Claude itself. Claude is Anthropic's product. I can't fix its outages, limits, changes or prices.
- A limit. As far as the law allows, my total responsibility to you is at most what you paid for the sessions involved.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Changes
If I change these terms, the new version shows its date at the top and applies to bookings made after that date. A booking you've already made keeps the terms you booked under.
